Air Compressor Safety Inspection Checkpoints: SN Details 1 Air Compressor should be physically in good condition and have valid TPI. 2 Motor should be physically sound and in working condition. 3 Inspection date and due date should be marked properly and visible. 4 Piston should be in good condition. 5 Pressure gauge should be free from defect and in working condition with calibration as per requirement. 6 Safety valve should be in working condition and inspection & testing as per legal requirement. 7 Inspection and testing of all other valves must as per legal requirements. 8 Machine guarding should be in good condition and attached all time while in operation. 9 Compressor should be grounded as per standard requirement. 10 Proper tightening of all joints. 11 All power cable should be free from defects. 12 Electrical Connection allowed through industrial plug only. 13 Whip arrestor should be in good condition. 14 Proper PPE or Personal Protective Equipment PPE should be available at place as per requirement.
